Born in Dearborn, Michigan in 2001, Alec Laurie grew up as a dedicated multi‑sport athlete, competing in football, baseball, and basketball throughout his youth. He continued his athletic career at Detroit Catholic Central, where he played football and graduated in 2020.

Alec has spent six years developing his career in the golf industry and recently completed his undergraduate degree in Golf Management from Keiser University. He also holds a certification in Golf Instruction, reinforcing his commitment to professional development and player improvement.

Alec brings an approachable, fundamentals‑driven teaching style to Faulkwood Golf Club. He excels at helping new and developing golfers establish a strong foundation and build confidence, while also supporting intermediate players seeking greater consistency, improved mechanics, and stronger on‑course decision‑making.
